 - Rainbow Academy Daily Activities -

SOCIAL AND  SURVIVAL SKILLS:  Children learn to follow instructions.  They also learn to play well and cooperate within a group.  Sharing and respect for others is stressed.

OUTDOOR PLAY:  Outdoor play is an excellent opportunity to develop friendships. It also enhances muscle development and coordination. 

HOME LIVING CENTER:  Housekeeping corner is equipped with stove, kitchen equipment, dolls, clothing, etc.  This helps children  discover role playing.

LANGUAGE ARTS:  Various activities and games are used to teach children to recognize and learn the sounds of letters and eventually to blend these sounds into words.

MUSIC:  Sing-a-longs, musical instruments, dances and marches.

ARTS & CRAFTS:  Large assortment of materials and craft items.

MATH & SCIENCES:   A large assortment of educational tools are provided.
